Match Winner
You back the team that wins the series. In a best-of-three, that means two map wins. It is the most liquid market and the one most influenced by reputation — big names like Team Spirit, Team Liquid or Tundra Esports attract money regardless of current form.
Map Winner
Each game in the series is a separate market. Map 1 is set before any draft information exists, so it tracks the series price closely. From Map 2 onwards, prices react to what happened in the previous draft and to the side-and-pick order for the next game.
Correct Score and Total Maps
Correct score asks for 2-0, 2-1, 1-2 or 0-2. Total maps over 2.5 simply asks whether the series goes to a deciding third game — a bet on closeness, not on a winner.
Terms you will see
- Radiant / Dire — the two sides of the map. Teams choose a side or first pick through the coin toss.
- Draft — the pick-and-ban phase in Captains Mode. Comfort picks and bans often reveal a team's plan.
- Roshan & Aegis — killing Roshan grants the Aegis of the Immortal, a second life that often decides high-ground pushes.
- Throne — destroying the enemy Ancient ends the game. Comebacks are possible until the very end.
- Patch — balance updates reshuffle hero strength. Teams adapt at different speeds.
Bo1, Bo3 and Bo5: same teams, different bets
Professional Dota 2 tournaments mix formats across a single event: group stages, Swiss rounds, double-elimination brackets and best-of-five grand finals.
One draft decides
Used in some group stages. A single cheesy draft or a lost team fight at 20 minutes can sink a favourite. Upsets are frequent, so underdog prices carry more weight.
The standard series
Playoffs and most matches. Teams can adapt the draft after Map 1. Map handicap and correct score become the main tools for expressing a view.
Grand finals
Hero pool depth matters: strong picks get banned, so teams need answers for five drafts. Favourites usually shorten further.
Betting on organisations, not just names
